I agree.. During rush they seemed so pretty but they were hiding everyone what wasn't blonde!! It turned out to be a totally different house then what it seemed like at rush. They have a few really gorgeous girls and these girls are always the only ones in most of their pictures. Really deceiving....

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at University of California, Berkeley - UCB 1.9 My Rho Chi was in this house and dropped right after she was done with recruitment. The sisterhood in this house is terrible and I met with her for coffee later and she told me all the horrible stories of what girls do to each other. Seriously awful

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at University of California, Berkeley - UCB 2.5 There is a lot of internal drama in this house because it’s full of try-hards. I know a handful of girls in this house who I am friends with from other activities on Cal’s campus and they have all had not so nice things to say about this house which almost makes me feel bad for them. Girls literally fight over bids to top houses like it’s the god damn hunger games. I know a handful of girls who decided not to live in because they “couldn’t handle” the drama. This house is also incredibly entitled for no reason at all. I was once in line for a party at DX as security was checking bids. Three girls from alpha phi literally cut to the front and said “were in alpha phi our social chair is xxx” and PUSHED past the brother letting girls though. There is also the entire issue of racism within this house. They have a good number of non-white girls, but tend not to support them or feature them on social media. During recruitment, they only let their “best” aka white members recruit. They chose a pretty exclusively all white pledge class (and no white does not always mean top). When complaints were made to nationals, girls were told the chapter already had enough diversity. Not to mention this chapter dirty rushes, blatantly disregards PHC rules and receives no consequences.

If you were kinda weird in high school and somewhat of a wannabe - this house is for you! not cohesive at all but way more diverse than the top houses. Quirky, insecure, hangs with the middle frats. If you want a decent social life at cal, you won't join this house.

Pi Phi and Kappa rejects...Legit the only reason why people join this house is if they are dropped from the top two and even dropped from DG. Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at University of California, Berkeley - UCB 5.0 this house has risen to the top this year. as a member of the newest pledge class, I can tell you we have completely changed the dynamic of the house! we have made aphi top house with kappa :) we go hard, but still are the girls that every frat guy wants to bring to date party / marry
