Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at University of California, Berkeley - UCB 3.6 This house focuses WAY to hard on being a "top house" and because of that, they never will be. Other top houses were able to recruit fairly, at least to my knowledge, and come out with solid pledge classes. Not Alpha Phi. They dirty recruit so hard, which at this point, is getting hard for them to deny. Not only has the controversy been circulating here on GR, but I've also had girls in my PC tell me their first hand accounts of being told things under the table by current members, being promised bids, etc. They encouraged girls to drop the formal recruitment process on pref night that way they wouldn't get swooped on by another house. They also have a fair number of girls of color, but it's pretty obvious that they try to hide them amongst all the white girls. Race baiting was also an issue for them during recruitment. Not classy, at all--and it becomes increasingly evident at game day parties lol. As someone in a mid tier house, I have no problem admitting to the ranking/pecking order that unfortunately exists at Cal, and I have no problem accepting who the other top houses are. Alpha Phi, you are not one of them. It's gonna take a solid number of years for them to rebrand and clean up their act if they want to actually compete with other top houses. They're kind of a joke at this point.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at University of California, Berkeley - UCB 2.6 They may be the top house but I haven't met one girl who will have a real conversation. They are almost all white and possibly the most stereotypical sorority at Cal, may be the most popular but dont have fun. Most people I know dont enjoy them not in class or in greek life .

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at University of California, Berkeley - UCB 4.4 Them and Chi O are actually fun and go to a bunch of different frats besides just Zete and SAE. Nice girls, mix of more preppy and more indie girls but everyone is cool and involved. The girls you take to your invite. 'Nuff said.
