Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at University of California, Berkeley - UCB 4.0 The girls in this house are some of the most genuine people I've ever met. Despite the rumors, they are not losing their charter and have a great relationship with both the PHC community and the International organization. Their last PC was great and had some hot girls. Go Bears!

But how are these rumors if your national webpage says that you are no longer a part of your sorority? Again these ladies are great, but this is severely gonna hurt their recruitment this fall. Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at University of California, Berkeley - UCB 4.2 AOII is a wonderful house. Sure it's not the top sorority, but at least it has a group of gorgeous, smart, and wonderful girls that actually care about sisterhood and campus involvement rather than ranking. To clarify, they are NOT losing their charter. They will continue to be recognized by their internationals and by panhellenic. Two pieces of advice: don't listen to the rankings and don't listen to rumors!! xoxo

AOII is a wonderful house. The AOII nationals has a press release on the issue explaining the whole thing... It's not a rumor.

It's not a rumor that the physical house won't have AOII letters on them but there are still AOII girls living in the house and AOII will still be an active sorority at Cal, as recognized by Panhellenic and AOII internationals.

On the press release, it says "Effective as of September 3, 2015, the current AOII Sigma Chapter house at 2311 Prospect Street will no longer be recognized as an AOII facility. After that date, no AOII activities will be permitted at the location. In addition, Sigma 1916 will no longer have permission to use or display the name “Alpha Omicron Pi,” the Greek letters “AOII,” or any other Fraternity trademarks or insignia, and the letters on the house will have to be removed. Although it will no longer be a recognized AOII facility, members may continue to live in the house per the terms of their housing agreements with Sigma 1916, Inc." So....i'm confused

Yeah, the press release states the house won't be recognized by their International organization (I'm sure temporarily), but the chapter is still active and the girls are still AOIIs. This is literally a conflict surrounding the physical house they live in and has nothing to do with the chapter at all
