fall 2016 frat scene part 3

FIJI- recently returned to Union and slowly growing every year, interesting group of brothers that could capitalize by taking kids that might have otherwise gone TDX, got some attention this past spring by throwing a FIJI islander at their off campus place, not well known at all but could become a decent frat in a few years if they pick up numbers and eventually make moves to get an on campus house

KA- the very first fraternity in the country and founded here so has deep historical roots with Union, however today's KA is a shell of what it once was at this school, a couple extremely nerdy guys keeping the house alive, moving into 20 1/2 U this year which is a prime off campus location but that probably doesnt mean anything, maybe they will try to have parties this year but theyre otherwise irrelevant to the social scene here, pretty much like what ZBT used to be

...Ultimately the social scene at Union is changing and changing quickly. Administration is cracking down hard on parties making it more difficult for frats to throw down. TDX losing their house will surely have huge ramifications on the social scene and no one knows what will happen to their house yet. Its rumored that other frats are hoping to move in but no one knows for sure. The power dynamic looks like it wont be as much tilted to favor up campus anymore now that TDX is gone and with Sig Phi and AD getting increasingly popular. Should be an interesting year
