delta phi epsilon discussion

I've been on campus for a many years now as an undergrad/grad, I'm the same age as a lot of undergrad seniors and I'm in a fraternity so I've seen and noticed many sorority trends. To me,there is no other sorority that is AS FAKE as DPhiE. People give a certain sorority a hard time, most of them are in DPhiE, but they're only doing that to get the attention off of their problems. It's not rocket science that many of these girls are fake especially during recruitment and try to be something their not;dirty rushing, only using attractive girls, talking bad about other sororities, and bullying/brainwashing the newbies into hating their competition. It's very off putting to witness and a disgrace to greek life DPhiE has never been THE BEST on campus and that's the truth. They had a GREAT recruitment 2years ago and clearly it was a fluke, the only GREAT thing was they had hot girls. Don't be fooled they are NOT nice people, NOT a good organization, NOR a positive or genuine sorority.

whoever wrote that comment is bitter over something, its apparent to greek life at um that dphie is a good all around sorority. They always attract top girls during recruitment and do well in greek competitions. Truth be told, all sororities have something special to offer um and thats why they are here on campus. iF YOU ARE GOING THROUGH RECRUITMENT: take in account the positive things said on here and what you feel when you meet each sorority bc thats how you will decide which one is right for you. most of the negative things said are out of jealousy for each sorority.

don't know many deefers but totally scared me away during rush when one announced to the entire room that i didn't have a fake ID and had NEVER BEEN TO THE GROVE!!! as if i were a leper

I met some girls at showcase and i didn't think they all looked or acted the same at all! They were all so nice. I heard that these are the girls who work hard and play hard- and I think that's a good reputation. Don't get me wrong, I really liked the other sororities too, but DPHIE feels like the most balanced. I am SO excited to meet all the girls in the different sororities but I have to admit, I am most excited to meet DPHIE girls. YAY!

I didn't rush last year but I have a good understanding of each sorority, and I am definitely rushing DPHIE this year. Genuine and diverse sisterhood, fun to be around, and are well known by frats and around UM!!!
