my fraternity does not exist at um

I transferred from out of state, and UM does not have a chapter of my fraternity. Can I disassociate and join another one here? Or will the current fraternities not allow me in because of it even if so?

To my knowledge, pretty much every fraternity makes you swear you've never been affiliated with another fraternal organization. Lying about that would be incredibly dishonest as well as likely grounds for immediate expulsion from both your current fraternity and whoever you ended up pledging. It would also make you a pretty bad person.

I know the following frats ghost pledge a lot Alphasig, pike, Sammy, sig chi, pi kapp and zbt. Don't know about the rest
