What is UMiami Like?

Hi! I'm interested in attending UMiami in the fall but don't know much about it. I don't really know anyone who goes there, but I heard it's a good school with a great student atmosphere! I'm a girl from California who wants to major in Finance and possibly Real Estate. I know this is a website for Greek life and may not be entirely accurate, but I'd love to hear about your personal experience attending UMiami and possibly answer some of these questions. How are the academics, classes, and professors (particularly for finance)? What is the culture like? Do you feel like there's a sense of community? What do college students do in their free time at the U (during the day, going out, etc)? Is Greek life more laid back or is it kinda toxic? Do people attend games? Is the campus dead or do you always see people doing things on campus? What is it like when you live off campus (like do you still feel connected to the school or campus)? Is it pretty easy to make friends or is it more difficult? Are the people more focused on partying or academics? What are your favorite parts of UMiami? Was this college your first choice? I'd love to hear any additional advice as well!
