Will there be another new sorority next year?

It’s a long process to get a new sorority, and usually they’ll space them out a few years so DG has time to get as big as the others. Plus, the number of girls going through recruitment doesn’t really matter, panhell adjusts quota accordingly and tells every house how many girls to invite back.
No matter how many sororities there are, more than half the girls are gonna get dropped by the “top houses” and a lot of those girls will drop rush, whether there’s 7 sororities or 15. People were saying the same thing before pi phi, but many would still drop rather than take a bid from them. Most people aren’t actually getting dropped from all houses, they’re just babying themselves acting like rush is some horrible thing when most people aren’t getting a deeph bid and can still have a good time somewhere else

At the moment, probably not. DG is going to return and will need a few years to settle. After that, if recruitment numbers keep going up then they could look into it.
