To sorority pnms

Dear PNM's:
- Believe it or not, rush is a really emotional time within the chapters too. Each member has her personal favorite pnm's that she absolutely loves and had the best convos with, really made a connection with, and wants to see come back. We fight for you in membership selection, but we never know the final results of chapter voting because only the few on the recruitment team see it. When we get our lists back for a round with the pnm's who are returning to us and don't see one of the names we were really hoping for it hurts so bad.
- We don't know what went wrong, if you dropped us or if our chapter dropped you. There are tears and drama and finger pointing. It's frustrating because the decision is out of our hands, we vote as a chapter and not everyone gets her own way. We get told that we have to pull it together and keep putting on a good rush to find our future sisters.
- So please know that if you fell in love with a chapter and connected with the members you talked to and felt at home, it was real and the girls you talked to felt the same way even if it didn't end up the way we all would have wanted.

It depends on the house. But for example if I loved you and voted you a 10 and other people voted you a 7 you might end up with a score of 8. Then you get ranked with all the other pnms. Each house has a target number of girls to invite back based on how strongly they rush… strong houses invite back less girls because they usually have high retention. So you could be #101 on a list with a high score but if the house can only invite back 100 then you get dropped. Make sense? So it all friends in how each house votes, and their retention rate.
