what are the nicest sororities

Pretty much all of the sororities are nice. Tbh just go with your gut and I’m sure you’ll find the right group!

You go to each of the sororities during the first round and since there aren’t that many houses it’s very easy to keep them straight. You’ll definitely get a different vibe at each house. Keep an open mind and you’ll find your people.

There are kind girls in every house, and there are not-so-kind girls in every house. Fwiw, I chose a “mid tier” house over a “top tier” assuming that everyone would be nicer (among other reasons), and for the most part, the girls in my house are some of the kindest, most genuine, funny, and caring people I’ve ever met. But a non-trivial proportion of the girls seem to care more about social climbing than making sure everyone feels welcome and accepted.

I’ve met a similar mix of girls in every single sorority—some who are wonderful, and some who aren’t very nice. So this might not be a very helpful answer, but just try to trust your instincts during rush, and after that, make friends with the other girls who share your values. You’ll find your people! :)

Hope this helps but making decisions based off of what you’ve heard the top houses are is a bad idea. Everyone has a different vibe and go with where you feel comfortable. I have friends in every single sorority on campus and you’ll meet genuine and nice girls in all of them.

Some advice from someone who chose the right house but almost didn’t. Sometimes girls aren’t overly friendly. It doesn’t mean they’re snobby. It just means they might not be as extroverted. Try to form genuine connections and see past the superficial stuff.
