Is being paired w another PNM bad
by: HelpAt my top house they paired me with another girl to talk. The 2 of us rotated thru 3 girls together. Is this bad? Why did we have to do a 2 on 1?

I wonder what house it was, but maybe the groups are so big that at least a few girls are getting double rushed in each one, since panhell limits the amount of recruiters a sorority can have so none should be short on their own accord. Don’t take it personal, I double-rushed girls as a recruiter that we’re some of my favorites and we ended up bidding them, it’s likely luck of the draw. That being said, if you have a “top house”, be careful not to focus too much on just them

It’s ok, recruiters aren’t aware it’s a weird dynamic and we don’t like it either. Honestly it shouldn’t happen, maybe there’s just a ton of girls rushing. Remember the first round is pretty basic, and they know you’re nervous too. If it’s meant to be it’ll be. Personally my house double-matched more or less at random, or matched to the recruiter based on some sort of commonality and sometimes that recruiter got two, and it didn’t mean anything except that they sent us too many girls in a round. I usually tried to give the double rush girls benefit of the doubt and make a note if I want to see them again and that they should get more attention next round. I hate to say it, but it’s true some sororities already know who they’re cutting before they even step in the room, and that happens regardless of whether you’re double or single rushed and there’s really not much you can do about it. Either way, I wouldn’t stress about it.

personally as a pnm I loved it bc if there was never an awkward silence like that since that other person could pick up. It also gives you a little inspo on what other ppl are saying in their interactions and maybe what they’re saying sounds better than what you are saying and you can use it in the following rounds.
In terms of if it’s good or bad from the sorority side it just means that there are more pms than the ppl they have recruiting. It’s just a numbers thing

They were my fav girls but I feel like being in a trio put me on edge- didn’t want to talk too much, but not too little, or talk over people. Flowed a lot less easy and I’m very stressed.
