What was the sorority her cousin was in that she wanted? What was the second house she wanted that dropped her on pref? What did she end up going?

I have never heard of either of them. I wonder if they’re local to Florida and not national.

Zeta is pretty big nationally. In most places zeta is full of pretty blonds. Usually bottom top or upper mid. Often has a party girl rep

You’ve never heard of zeta? It’s a decently large national sorority.

I’m surprised that the top 2 here are sig delt and dphie. Nationally, they aren’t well known and are small or nonexistent at other schools. usually you have your powerhouses like kappa or tri delt and then in the south everyone wants phi mu, xo, or kd. Zeta is also very popular with the influencer crowd.

full disclosure I am not a u miami girlie I go to school at a huge sec (I am Greek) but love alix and got curious about y’all’s panhel.

So, can someone explain? Why do y’all not like the more traditionally popular national sororities?

ok I thought of another question: is it because those more well known sororities have stricter rules about partying and y’all like to party?

Sororities are so different based on school, choosing on national rep is dumb. We had Kappa at one point but they closed because their numbers were so low. Dphie is top at NYU and SDT is top at Cornell so it really varies

Those sororities have a presence in the North. U Miami isn’t ur typical Southern school. Also chapters are different at every campus. Like Kappa Delta could be the best house at one school and the worst at another. That’s kinda standard. A lot of Southern schools do have the same chapters but there are a lot of successful sororities not at SEC schools
