An Honest Thought on UMiami Sororities

As a girl who just rushed, I wanted to give some of my thoughts on sororities at UM and see what people had to say. A lot of the recent posts are confusing me.

I feel like UM really doesn’t have any bottom tier sororities. All the sororities here are good, especially compared to the bad frats on campus. I understand why SDT and Deeph are top but they didn’t give like any girls a chance this year and literally cut so many girls based on videos. I had a really weird experience with Tri Delt during rush and honestly see them on the same level as Chi O. They both have nice girls but just seem a little more strange than what ADPi, Zeta, and Pi Phi have. I feel like Pi Phi doesn’t deserve to be so low in the rankings and I’ve seen it ranked so low on here. Zeta seemed to cut a lot of girls based on GPA, which is super valid since they have a lot of smart girls, and ADPi seemed to cut most girls after philanthropy round. I truly feel like all sororities here are awesome. What do you guys think? I don’t really get why more frats don’t mix with Pi Phi and Tri Delt but considering pretty much any girls on campus can go to frat parties I guess that doesn’t matter much to the girls.
