Is it hard to get a bid?
by: UUUUUUUIs it hard to get a bid at the University of Miami? I am a transfer student and want to rush a fraternity.

Depends on whether the guys like you or not
I almost got a bid one year from a Top 5 frat (rhymes with Zeta) because the Rush Chair and I were good friends and took a couple of STEM classes together. And mind you, I'm a nerd - not like the typical frat guy you see at Miami
The following year, I tried again but the new rush chair absolutely despised me and made it a point to humiliate me and not give a bid for whatever reason. Oh well...
Don't have your heart set on a single frat and try different things out. I'd say be GDI over rushing a lower-tier frat, but there are genuinely cool brothers in every frat. Good luck!
