rush this year

Already in a sorority but I hate this for y’all. Last year the panhell VPR insisted on doing an open house round even on zoom, even if it took all day because doing videos the first year was so awful and unfair to so many people. Why they went back to that instead of just doing round one on zoom if they really had to I have no idea. Please please please PNMs don’t take drops based on your video to heart and focus on the sororities that wanted a chance to meet you in person, a lot of us on this side are aware of how weird this is

Agree 100%. Videos were awful and really using them to judge perpetuates all the negative stereotypes of sororities. A step back for Greek life. Bad call on panhellenic’s part for sure!!!

Videos are a horrible idea. Not to get a chance to meet in person based on a 90 sec clip is ridiculous and forces a decision based on trivial and likely non-factors that totally perpetuates all the bad sorority stereotypes. Also there is definitely dirty rushing and lots of Nepo focus.

completely agree. a lot of really cool and pretty girls got dropped by the top ones while some stranger girls were getting brought back by deeph. so odd to me. even rec letters did like nothing to help

i’m on the sorority side rushing and i HATE the videos. it brought out a really nasty side in some of the girls in my sorority and completely changed my opinion of them. my “sisters” saying awful things about completely normal and average girls, as if they themselves are total 10s… making fun of the way they said hi or opened their video… like how are y’all group leaders and being this heinous..
