What happened to Greek life

Who cares about ranks. When my cousin was at UMiami he said all the Greeks were the leaders of everything and involved in everything on campus and everyone participated in Greek week and homecoming. Now it seems like Greeks are not involved and most do nothing and don’t care about anything. What happened to the greek system and how can we become stronger again?
