at the end of the day if deeph is top in miami it’s top and of course girls like alix want it it’s not a question of nationally

Because sororities are for life not four years. Are there even Deeph clubs in cities like NYC?

Im a guy but if you still want to be involved that much in greek life after you graduated, then you peaked in college. How sad.
I just checked and yes, there is an alumni club there.

Deeph alum here actually. I’m just saying after college in the real world literally no one’s heard of it and probably assume it’s bottom. Part of the appeal of joining a sorority is networking and outside of UM Deeph/SDT have zero recognition.
IMO UM has a good enough social scene that being Greek didn’t change the experience the way it would at other schools. Alix is a good example of this.

nice troll attempt Zeta, same thing is said very year as long as greekrank has existed.
Fact is, outside of the SEC, ZTA is mid. Dphie has twice as many chapters in the northeast as ZTA. And the chapters that ZTA has in the NE are mostly bottom to mid.
So unless you plan to work in the agriculture business in Alabama, ZTA wont be much help for networking with other sisters. Probably explains why Alix left.

that’s nuts and weirdo behavior from her cousin tho. literally every single older sorority girl who has a younger family member going thru rush at their school would be SO excited at the possibility of their family member (especially one as pretty and popular as Alix) becoming their sister!!! a good chunk of my sorority’s “top girls” during rush are older girls’ little sisters and cousins, as well as younger besties from back home!!!
of course not everyone is meant to go the same house as your sister/cousin. it’s one thing to say tbh, my sister/cousin is a better fit for ZTA or ADPI, but blacklisting her? her cousin must’ve been an awful jealous and spiteful girl wtf.
she did imply that SDT (i think SDT) kept her but dropped her right before prefs. i wonder if they heard that she’d been dropped by deeph bc of her cousin, and were just like yikes … we can’t keep her.
besides, her besties are all SDTs and deephs so she still has those friendships regardless of her sorority. things work out the way they do for a reason

I agree. I would’ve stayed with ZTA based on their national reputation. Shame UM doesn’t have more reputable sororities. I would’ve preferred Theta and/or Kappa over SDT or Dphi
