Rush tips for the girls

Oki guys, it’s beginning of the school year so why not put some positive stuff on here. I know people are already getting nervous about sorority rush so here is what you can do and think of right now to help yourself out.
- register before it closes. So many people forget so just do it
- do nothing until January when it comes around, and don’t think too much about it in the meantime. The people that analyze it the least have the best outcomes
But if you must
-follow all the sororities info IG. Sisters may look you up during recruitment, and it’s such a tiny thing but if you aren’t following their sorority it may give them a little bias, even if it’s something you didn’t even think about
- do not listen to what 99% males tell you about sororities, especially if it is negative. The majority who will give you an opinion on this feel better about themselves by putting women down, or will want you to join a specific sorority so being friends w you boosts their social status or you can convince that sorority to mix with their frat. Girls in Miami can do, go and party wherever they want, so popularity isn’t as important as men want you to think. If it’s a genuine friend saying “I know girls here, you would really love it” or “don’t count that group out you would really like the girls I know in it” that is something else
- join at least one extracurricular, you don’t need to be involved in a ton, but during recruitment sororities will definitely look for girls who do at least something on campus and have a passion, and it will give you something to talk about
- get a sense of how the sorority girls in your clubs, classes, that you see at parties act. You can even ask them for rush advice and see what they say, most would be happy to tell you
-and the biggest thing you can do before rush- DO NOT BE A LIABILITY AT PARTIES this is the fastest way to get yourself dropped before rush even starts. Girls from every sorority go out a lot, and if they see the same girl throwing up in the bushes every week they will not want that in their chapter, throwing up at date parties, causing trouble at mixers because it’s not a good look. Everyone has their day now and then and people get that, but there’s a difference between doing it once and being the girl everyone who frequents beta has seen before acting a fool
