sophomore rush?

I rushed as a sophomore and got my first pick. I’ve also been on the other side. I’ve seen sophomores end up in every sorority on campus, and when it comes to voting if I like someone I score them well not matter what year they are. I won’t say it can’t be a little harder, because if all things are equal a sorority might pick a freshman that will pay four years of dues over a sophomore but it’s a pretty minor factor. I’d be ready for a few cuts, not just because of that but because most people get dropped somewhere, but I would definitely recommend rushing anyway. It doesn’t really matter so much who you know at this point unless you genuinely make some really close friends, just don’t be the girl who acts so dumb at parties you get flagged and you’ll be fine.
