Chi O Mix w/Frats?
by: CuriousDoes Chi O mix with any of the frats on campus? Also I don’t understand why they’ve gotten such a bad rep on here, all the girls I’ve met are so sweet

I’ll be honest I’m in chio and I’ve never had a problem with social life. In my time we mixed the most with asig and kappa sig before they got kicked off and other mids like aepi/beta more occasionally, plus everyone goes to parties on the weekends which are usually open and lots of the girls are more into the club scene anyway, hence frats not being that big of a deal. The reason for the reputation, while there are some awkward girls like in any chapter, is mostly that we’re still relatively new and it can take longer than people think to build. Like any new group (look at pike) the first couple pledge classes are pretty random, some awesome people some random and you basically have to start from 0 and go from there. Add in a campus with 6 sororities and a superficial rep, and people will put you down just to make their own group feel better to the point that other people believe it and make decisions based off what other people think. That’s a long way of saying if you like it go for it, it won’t give you an amazing status boost and a million IG followers but it definitely won’t kill your social life.
