Pi beta phi rush

I would agree except it’s so hard to establish yourself when you’re a new group. Hard to mix with frats and since it would be anyone who wants to be in it there would be no “vibe” of the group. I love chi o tbh but they’re considered bottom mainly bc they’re so new, even tho chi o is top at other schools.

I’d join but only if it’s labeled as an academic club cuz my parents don’t want me doing weed. Also can we have fortnite dance offs?

I get why it’s intriguing but I think you should think more about that. As great as “starting a mew sorority and getting right to the top” sounds, it isn’t that easy. Sadly sororities are not frats, and while you do get the honor of being a founding sister which is pretty cool, the reality is that being the new sorority means your adult advisors will be watching you guys very closely, choosing your leaders and managing everything you do for the first few years- I’ve seen this happen at other schools and expect the same here. As far as getting to the top because pi phi is top everywhere else- most people here aren’t from the south where families are deeply Greek and know of every groups reputation, so nobody is going to care about that- though it’s still a positive because it probably means your nationals has more resources to help you, but on the reputation front I doubt anybody will care. Two “top” sororities here are actually very small nationally compared to everyone else. I’m not saying it will be bad and there is pros and cons, but suggesting you think realistically about what it will actually mean to build a sorority from the ground up with a group of sisters chosen for you em masse from outside. It may be a great experience- but it probably won’t be a quick way top get to the top.
