greek life dying?

by:

I noticed that there are way less freshman girls rushing than in past years and that most of the girls rushing are sophomores. Is there a reason why not as many freshmen are rushing or are sororities in general just becoming less relevant? Confused

I noticed that too, maybe it’s because most events are open nowadays? So girls who just want to party probably don’t see any point in rushing since mixing is pretty irrelevant now

As a freshmen, I didn’t see any difference I wasn’t worried I couldn’t do anything because I didn’t rush a sorority

I wouldn’t say dying but it definitely shrank this year, girls are realizing they can have a good social life without it. Hopefully it can come back or at least maintain

It’s def becoming less relevant, I mean with dg gone there’s only 6 sororities and like 12 frats or whatever it doesn’t really make sense, and they have no houses, most of them aren’t that close of sisterhoods, don’t do anything other than party with frats which are usually open anyways, I think girls are realizing its kinda pointless. No hate, just my observations
