can someone please explain

I never understood why ranking is such an important part of Greek life these days. I’m not saying I’m for or against it, but I never really understood why it’s a vital part of practically every school to create a social hierarchy of which Greek organizations are the best.

We don’t rank other organizations on campus based on our opinions, so why has it become such an important part of college life?

Miami is so different than other schools that my friends are at. They rank on here but really there isn't much difference. Even lower tier is pretty cool. my friends' school have a lower tier and you definitely would not want to be a part of lower tier but here it all is okay. like maybe the difference her is you like nikes instead of yeezys but at other schools you like Walmart instead of Chanel.
