greek life rules question

How can Kappa Sig kids join Sammy? I thought if you initiate one frat/or sorority you can't initiate another? or is that just for sororities?

I'm pretty sure people can disaffiliate from their frat or sorority, so in that case it would be possible. I also know that some of kappas pledges rerushed, so they would not need to disaffiliate bc they were never initiated.

You can debrother yourself. That’s what the hella old kappa squid brother did and joined aepi.

With frats you can disaffiliate, but with sororities you can't. That's why the old Kappa Sig brothers were able to rush aepi/sammy, and why the old DG girls (except the current juniors that weren't initiated) could not rerush at all.
