I’d say follow all the instas and email Panhellenic, chi o often does fall rush as do tridelt and adpi but it could be any three doing it. Tips are really just be yourself and keep an open mind, the downside of fall rush is that you don’t get to meet all the sororities but on the plus side you get to know the girls who rush you better and it’s laid back, plus if you’re a transfer it will help you make tons of friends early and have people to go out with, which can sometimes be harder if you’re shy (but definitely not impossible- I’m a transfer and I waited til spring to rush and still had a great fall)

I didn't rush until I was a sophomore, so I feel as if I can relate to your situation. Although I can understand where you may be coming from when you say that you don't want to wait for the spring to rush, in my opinion waiting until my second year (spring semester) to rush was such a good decision because I went in already knowing girls in each sorority, and it was easier for me to feel more confident in my decision. Joining a sorority is a huge decision and I would recommend waiting until the spring to rush in order to have already had the opportunity to get to know the people in Greek life through your classes, go to social events, and get a feel for the sororities on campus. You may be limiting yourself in terms of the organizations you can join, since not every organization participates in fall rush. However, if you are extremely adamant in joining ASAP, I'm sure you will find a good group of girls through the participating organizations during fall recruitment, but you may be left wondering if it was the best fit out of every organization available.
