Coral Gables ordinance says that a certain amount of girls living together would be considered a brothel

I’d be shocked if that’s still a rule though it would explain why sororities didn’t get housed at the beginning. At this point I doubt they want them dues would go up so much and it’s not like they hold parties

Are you stupid? That’s an urban myth. How dumb do u have to be to believe that. Simple google search will tell u that was a joke

every time I hear that "law" I think of all of the all-female dorms on college campuses or women's colleges in states that have that "law."

Honestly I feel like Deeph and SDT can easily throw some money around buy a property for each one and this can also be their first real estate investment perhaps Zeta can probably do that too who knows.

I think all the sororities agreed to stay in the suites to avoid everyone raising dues and battling over housing, plus finding houses big enough for that many girls would be hard even if the whole chapter doesn’t live there, making paying the dues not really worth it when chapter can just be in the suites since sororities can’t throw parties (which is bs btw; not that I’d want to but we should be allowed) Also I think at schools where sororities have big houses nationals usually have a lot to do with that, and SDTand Deeph have smaller nationals even if they’re the richest here
