greek life at um

This is gonna sound really soft to a lot of people but guys it’s pretty obvious that Greek life at UM is in trouble and a lot of GDIs and administrators would love to see it gone. Three orgs kicked off in the last two years and another gone because of numbers isn’t good for any of us. DG and kappa sig both kicked off, so it’s obvious it can happen to anyone no matter your social status or even if you deserve. As people in Greek life we should stick together because every time one organization gets kicked off the rules get that much stricter and the school hates us even more. Stop calling the cops on each other’s parties, stop telling people that certain frats or sororities aren’t worth joining because we already have so few. If someone’s is really in trouble and needs help obviously get it for them first and foremost, but sober monitor parties better so that doesn’t happen, and stop trying to get other people in trouble or put them down cuz it doesn’t make you look better and it makes all of us look bad.
