is this a greek life school?

A little bit of everything. I'd say the bar scene is dying especially with the Grove being dead, but clubs in Wynwood and South Beach are alive and well, especially with frats renting them out. Frat parties are also a thing, but not as huge as large SEC state schools because not all frats here have an on-campus house. Definitely a more chill greek life scene versus other schools.

The cool thing about Miami is the options you get to have fun in whatever way you want.

I would agree with above except bar scene-nightlife is probably bigger here than most schools in the US. Greek life is nothing like at other schools. However I still enjoy being in a sorority here and the fraternity parties here are pretty fun. Everyone kind of mixed together here and it’s very easy to find friends. Recruitment isn’t until spring so if you’re coming in as a freshmen you’ll mostly meet people in the fall through your dorm etc

It’s a great school and I definitely wouldn’t decide not to come because you want a bigger Greek life scene because it’s an amazing experience to go to school here no matter what! I have friends at schools all over the country and every time one of them visits me they are jealous of how great it is here.
