worth re-rushing

got a bid to a decent frat but my best friend didn't. Is it worth re-rushing again next fall as a sophomore for him or no? and if I join how will that affect our friendship?

In a similar situation but u gotta do what’s best for u and not risk not getting a bid next semester. He’ll be chill with it if ur close and it’s not a big deal if u get into different frats
