went thru recruitment freshman year and got dropped from all but chi o. i re rushed again as a sophomore and ended up going deeph even though i had no connections or friends in that sorority. a lot of people are open to taking sophs and they actually need them in their quota:) hope this helps!!

It’s not bad at all. A lot of sophomores rush and a lot of them end up in top sororitys.

So here’s the thing: a lot of sophomores rush and end up in ‘top’ sororitys and a lot don’t. Everyone is open to taking sophomores but there’s still more rushing than there are spots in the top sororities. Same goes for freshman but it might be a little harder for sophomores refusing unless you do something over the next year that makes you much more appealing to sororities. At least three sororities are doing informal right now out of 6, so if none of them will be good enough for you next year I wish you luck

it's so common to rush as a soph. you're in the same ranking "pool" as the freshmen so there's no difference really between rushing as a fresh and rushing as a soph
