sorority recruitment

If I have over 12 college credit hours can I rush in the fall for sorority recruitment? I may transfer to Miami in the fall. I would be a sophomore I'm just curious. Also, is it bad to rush as a sophomore?

No formal recruitment in the fall. Informal, if anyone is doing it.
