dg reinstatement date
by: curiousI am so curious about this DG/Butterfly situation. When will DG be reinstated? Will they be able to recruit next spring or do they get reinstated after recruitment. And if pledge classes are currently around 100 will they be able to take a pledge class of 200 since they are missing this year's recruitment? Does the U have any say in this or is the suspension all from National? If you got a bid but were not initiated do you have to go thru rush again or will you get initiated as soon as they are reinstated. Just curious how this will work out.

They are not just suspended, they are closed.
Delta Gamma Fraternity Council voted unanimously to close Beta Tau chapter at the University of Miami, following a University-led investigation. The investigation revealed concerning behavior that occurred during Big/Little Reveal on February 16, 2018. The allegations include: hazing, harassment, alcohol distribution, forced alcohol consumption, and delegated travel with unknown male students to locations. The chapter pled responsible to these allegations on March 21, 2018. Individual charges are expected from the University for those individuals who were allegedly involved.
