business frats vs social frats
by: .If i don't really care about rank or anything, what are the major differences in joining a professional frat and a social one?
#1 by: been in both
Social frats = lots of partying, alcohol, mixing with sororities, they each have a house or suite, and possible hazing. Dues go around $1000/sem.
Professional frats = more networking-focused, major-specific career interests (like business, medicine, etc.), no houses/suites (except for a couple that have suites), no hazing, co-ed. Only real "parties" are the formals. Dues vary, but no more than $300/sem.
