Whatever you make of it. Definitely a good amount of frat hosted house parties, but they can get old after awhile. Not really much of a bar scene, the Grove is either empty or too packed to move. Clubs are expensive but frequented by UM students. Frats have pregames, busses to venues in the surrounding area often. Tailgates in the fall are probably the best that a private school outside of USC offers. Pool parties are every weekend in the spring.

Basically, once you join a frat there’s always something to do.

There are frat parties every once in a while but they’ll host at clubs sometimes instead of the houses because not every frat has a house on campus. Pool parties are on the weekends though and those are fun! Other than that there are always clubs which my friends go to every weekend and sometimes during the week if there is a performer. Tailgates are fun but not as huge as a state school. Bars are not a thing anymore here.

If you want the typical college experience honestly don’t come to UM because you won’t get that here.
