sorority recs

Hiii lol I signed up for sorority recruitment and my twin is rushing at another school where she’s being told to get recommendations for all of the sororities. Ik theyre not necessary at Miami but I could get them for most chapters would that help or just make me look weird and try-hard? Just curious cuz I keep hearing recruitment is gonna be really hard this year. Also is that true or will there just be bigger pledge classes? I keep hearing different things from different people in Greek life lol

they honestly don't play a huge part in the decisions in most chapters on this campus, but they do help the chapters with more info about you which is always good.
