difference between a bottom tier and top tier

Freshman looking to rush next spring. So far the rankings seem pretty consistent in terms of who the tops, middles, and bottoms are. As someone who is new to this school and unfamiliar with Greek life, how different are the 2 extremes (top tier like SigEp/SigChi vs bottom tier like Lambda/Alpha Sig). Is it worth being in a frat if you only get into the bottom tier (I don't care much for status but I also don't want lame ass parties)

Top is volatile and varies by PC (some semesters it’s sig ep, some sae, some sig chi etc and that can always change) Rush where you genuinely fit and the rest will sort itself out.

Take a look in the mirror. No, like actually. Sucks but looks really do matter so be honest with yourself. That is honestly one of the main difference between top and bottom

It’s not based on looks because there’s always a couple of good looking guys in the non top frats that just aren’t douche bags.

Just find the boys you like hanging with and you will have fun regardless, dont try to change yourself for a certain frat
