greek life compared to south

I want a real Greek life experience in college and want to know if I will get that here? Like are the tailgates and formals and stuff big here and do frats sing to sororities and the typical stuff that is very present at southern universities.

All of that plus Miami nightlife instead of beat up college bars (we still have those). Almost one third of students here are Greek

im from the south and im greek here at UM. its nothing like you would expect, I wish it was though. Formals aren't a big deal, and my frat (most are this way as well) are very cliquey. Tailgates are big but unfortunately there aren't many traditional frat house parties like I wanted. should have chosen SMU.
