advice on pike

by:

I was given a bid to Pike the other day after a couple of interviews. Can’t decide on whether I should accept Pike’s offer or try rushing again in the Fall. I made it pretty far with the fraternity I liked the most during rush, but unfortunately things didn’t work out the way I wanted them to. Pike seems like it has a lot of promise and potential, but I’m afraid of missing out on potentially becoming a part of the fraternity I felt so comfortable and natural with. It’s been a tough decision lately, and I would really appreciate some advice

During the 2nd interview, I was asked questions like if I could see myself in leadership positions, what types of guys I would want to found Pike with, and what I personally thought of Pike's potential here. Then I was asked if I had any questions of my own.

Honestly why don’t u just go with pike. If u don’t like the guys or who things are going, u could always just drop them rush in the fall ?

Agreed. You should join and see how you like it. If you don't like it then drop and rerush the other frat u want to and if u do like it better then stay. You're not obligated to stay until you're initiated.

You're right, I should at least give it a try first and see how I like it since the agreement isn't binding before initiation. I'll keep an open mind, and if it doesn't work out then I'll rush again in the fall
