greek life here is too tier based

Or they didn't get bids because they only rushed top frats when they could have fit in great with lower/middle frats and had a lot to contribute. I'd be willing to bet that lots of these guys who 'didn't get bids' only rushed a few fraternities that have a ton of kids rushing them and didn't have any backup plan.

I agree some of them of the new bros who are now in the Top not necessarily earn it by showing them how cool they are rather than asking guys to vouch for them or having their parents wealth to vouch for them. Not necessarily showing them how much they pull was a factor for them to get a bid from the top 3 Frats
