It's not unheard of. depends on whether you were an on-the-fence rush or a landslide "no" vote. if you got pretty far through the rush events of a fraternity (esp as far as the smoker), there's a good chance enough guys like you that you could change minds by re-rushing and showing your dedication. if you only made it like halfway through though... it's a decent chance you annoyed some brothers and won't get a bid the second time. if you have any close friends in the frat in question, ask them for their honest opinion

Also remember, spring is more competitive because it's a bigger rush class with the freshman. fall classes often pick up guys who fell through the cracks in the spring

Do it, but check out fraternities you didn't rush initially as well.
