should i drop dphie?
by: LuAnnStti wa so excited to get the bid but honestly i've heard horror stories about their hazing. I also haven't cliqued with the girls in my pledge class. they have already formed their own groups. the older girls haven't been inclusive or inviting. one of them pushed me out of the way to get more alcohol at sig ep yesterday. i like our events but these girls are mean! how bad or risky is it to drop and re rush in hopes of getting dg or sdt?

Not in deeph so I'm not going to pretend to know if they haze or not, but if you feel uncomfortable with the sisters or you do get hazed definitely drop and rerush. However, like anybody going into rush you shouldn't have your heart set on one or two sororities. Every sorority has different types of girls and it's Miami so it's not like you can't party if you get a lower sorority. Hope it works out for you and good luck!

honestly i regret not dropping when i had the chance. i wasn't in deeph but an equivalent and waited it out because i felt like it was the right thing. i got initiated and realized i wanted to drop and i did my sophomore year but it just sucks because i'm not able to join another sorority. def drop if you want to so you can still rush again next year.
