why is pike back

Actually it was the national chapter that revoked pikes charter as sort of like a plea deal. For a frat to get kicked off campus they have to get formally voted off with a 2/3 majority from IFC. That never happened because supposedly they hazed some legacy whose dad was on the board of trustees or something like that. So their nationals just revoked their chapter before it got to the voting stage. Lots of politics at play, but pike was always going to be let back on it was the first frat on campus too many powerful alumni it was just a mater of how long. That’s how it was phrased to us by the deans. That we kinda had no choice but vote for them to come back. I don’t like their reputation think all the underground kids are a bunch of tools but I personally think Miami Greek Life is just better with pike being a thing.
