Really interested in joining SigEp but I don’t really know any brother well going into rush. I think I’ll fit into the frat pretty well but I heard that they know who they want. So should I even bother rushing them coz their events clash with other frats I’m interested in too.

If you're interested hang out and see what happens. Probably the best strategy is to go to the more selective frats early. If it's not looking good as things go on then go to other groups.
