why is it so hard to get a sigep bid?
by: RusheeKeep hearing from people it's ridiculously hard to get a SigEp bid unless DG's your year vouch for you or if you're not international. Do I have a shot if I just transferred in and don't really know anyone yet?

Probably no harder than other top tier. They just have a more narrow range of dudes they consider. If you fit their mold it's probably easier than other chapters because those dudes will let you know pretty early. Being off campus they don't really need to follow any school schedule. Either be loaded, jacked, and good with girls or be absurdly wealthy and foreign.
Sigma Chi is probably equally selective. They just look for different things.

Just because it's harder to get a bid there doesn't mean that they are better. A kid told me I probably wouldn't fit in at their first event last year and that it wouldn't be worth my time to come back. I felt he didn't get to know me enough I don't know what I could've done differently.
