what point is pike an option.

Hypothetically speaking,

If I go through regular rush and don’t get a bid from a top tier SAE/Sig Chi, should I do pike or re rush in the fall?

Not a huge fan of any of the mid tier frat they don’t really mix with dg,dphie, or sdt. I’ve been to a lot of mid tier frat parties they are dope but if I was in a frat I wouldn’t want random freshman guys at all my parties.

So in the case that I don’t get a top tier bid first time around should I just re rush in the fall or do pike? From the looks of it Pike has a better chance of being top tier by the time I graduate than anybody else. Or should I settle for Zbt or Pi Kapp

Honestly if it was me I would rather give Pike a shot than being stuck in a low mid/ low tier frat, but getting a top tier bid in the fall is always easier once your friends become brothers. The main drawback is that getting hazed by your boys will suck pledging in the fall.

If you don't get a bid from the top tier then give pike a shot since the potential to become top tier quick exists but if you don't like the guys in it then just re rush in the fall, simple as that

Pike will not be anywhere near top tier for at least 5 years, They’re literally gonna take any weird kid that didn’t get a bid just because they need to get their numbers up in order to be a successful colony and transition to an actual fraternity.

Pike shouldn’t be taken over any frat beside Lambda and alpha sig. “top tier” or bust is dumb, there’s kids in Pi Kapp, Beta, ZBT, etc. who pull fine your letters ain’t gonna change that

The only quality chicks pi kapps betas Or Zbt’s pull become girlfriends real quick. Hell Zbt has mastered the art of meeting Hot Freshman girls before they go Greek wifeing them up and then having their girls cheat on them with top tier kids once they end up in sororities. I am sorry if you’re trying to constantly get a different top tier girl every weekend it’s not happening at a mid tier frat end of Story.
