is it worth it?

So I registered for spring recruitment and am beginning to regret it. I see most post on this site and it seems like most of the sororities don't get a long with one another because they are fighting for top tier. Is this true? Does it become very cliquey after joint a sorority? What are the benefits of joining? I mean being a girl I still get to go to all the frats and stuff so is it actually worth it.. Do you truly enjoy being in a sorority or is it just something you felt like you did because everyone else was too. Any opinions will help! Thank you!
