best frats for middle class kids

Probably will be tough. Especially pledges get destroyed financially. Your best bet would probably be an academic/business/music/pre-med frat. Those dues are super reasonable, not high social slush dues. A huge part of Miami frat life is off campus clubbing/bars/boats/golf. You'd need to be comfortable with that and contribute.

For social frats probably the best calls would be Beta and Kap Sig. Maybe SAE if you're cool and don't live in the house

Beta, Phi Delt, Kappa Sig all have Middle class kids

Honestly I found during rush they kind of segregate the rich kids. At a few of the houses I had guys asking me what my parents did and all that, what I drove, etc.

Rich frats - ZBT, Sig Ep, Sig Chi
Between - Pi Kapp, SAE, Beta
Not rich frats - Sammy, Ksig, Phi Delt, etc.

Then again each frat has rich kids and not so rich kids, not a lot of poor people at the U. Middle-classwise I would say socially go for SAE or Pi Kapp since I think their dues are under 1k, but look at the other ones cause you'll still have a good time and it won't be as expensive per semester.

youll find where you fit, but only about 10p of the rich kids in frats are actually super rich, the rest are upper mid and theres tons of kids who just dont go in and flash around the money a ton but still rage
