Depends on what you're into. Sigma Chi is more involved on campus/better GPA. Sig Ep basically is only about off campus ragers, lifting weights, and pulling girls. Sigma Chi is more of a brotherhood and all around fraternity. Sig Ep is a borderline underground rich douche club, but they're hotter and throw down better because there are no rules off campus. Both are better than SAE. Sigma Chi is chiller. Sig Ep pulls better. Would rather date a Sigma Chi but would rather hookup with a Sig Ep.
My ratings:
1. Sig Ep (their parties are the most fun, hot guys)
2. Sigma Chi (overall great guys and less shallow)
3. Pi Kapp (preppy alcoholics with fun parties)
4. SAE ("nice guys" who are actually nice, super involved, best GPA, very respectful, but not as fun)
5. ZBT (fun parties, amazing club nights, tons of money, cool kids. Not the hottest)
6. Beta (mean well and try hard but I haven't been to one of their parties)
7. Sammy (bad boys. Sneaky hot. Sketchy though)

Both had great social semesters, and sure, Sig Ep arguably better. However, Sig Chi had a much much better rush, has the house, and more of a presence.
