sophomore rush

by: transferrrr

Held off on rushing at my current university because transferring to UM was always kind of the plan, and I decided if I was gonna pledge I'd rather do it with the people I will be brothers with for 3 years. Is it unusual for sophomores to rush at Miami? Will it hurt my shot at getting a bid

Not unusual at all, a ton of sophomores rush. If you're planning on rushing this coming fall you may actually have a better chance of getting bids than many freshman, as fall rush is smaller scale and gives you more opportunity to get to know brothers.

As the it above said, it's not unusual at all. Fall rush is pretty much all sophomores, with frats taking classes of around 10-12 kids usually. Many of the guys who rush in the fall are transfers too. Plenty of sophomores get bids in the spring, too. Don't worry about it.

What's the opinion about juniors rushing in the fall, is it worth it?

If you don't get a bid from Sig Chi or Sig Ep don't bother
