is greek life big at umami? i wanna transfer here but they won't have my frat and i don't really want to repledge and get hazed all over again as a junior. is it worth it to transfer here? from ny

Does your fraternity have a chapter here? If you're already a brother you won't get re hazed

If you aren't in a fraternity you won't have many opprtunities to party unless you're really into bars and south beach. I recommend it, not many fraternities haze that hard and juniors pledge in the fall all the time.

If you're already in a national organization you won't need to rerush or pledge. But if you aren't, it's not unheard of for junior transfers to get bids places.

If you're in a national fraternity and there's no chapter here, you can't join another fraternity. It's against national rules.

i went off campus, was never initiated officially. its big in ny colleges

Greek life here isn't huge at all (we're not SEC), but interest is growing i think. Maybe try to start a chapter here?

dont even have interest in any of that, i just dont want to go to a school that is dominated by greek life while im not in it
